Very unhappy with this product.
Always leaves streaks. Maybe a bad batch? I tried giving it a chance for past couple months, and still, always poor quality.

Appropriate for specific applications
We use Crystal Rain in our microscopy lab on coated lenses that would be damaged by solutions containing ammonia. Perhaps users who are disappointed with their results on plain glass would be better off to use ammonia-containing Windex and reserve Crystal Rain for coated surfaces, perhaps glass with films adhered to them? Note that I have given an overall rating that seems high compared to the individual ratings. I do not expect to clean a microscope lens quickly; Crystal Rain seems to work as "quickly" as any other solution I have tried.

Smells as good, as it works!
I love Crystal Rain Windex. I've always hated the scent of the Windex--"Original" scent, which has a bit of a "fishy" odor, when it comes into contact, with a paper towel. I don't know why, but it does.
However--The Crystal Rain, has more of a fragrant, soapy clean scent, that is so pleasing to the senses, that psychologically, it makes me want to clean more. What can
I say...I'm addicted, to Crystal Rain. Love it! And it works well on a black, flat top electric stove, for cleaning up smears.

Excellent Product!
Hi I just wanted to send you a note letting you know how much I like Windex Crystal Rain. I think it smells wonderful! I can't always afford it but I wish I could.

Poor cleaning ability and obnoxious odor.
I inadvertently purchased this product instead of the "original windex". Plain water is a more effective cleaner. Most obnoxious is the scent which is similar to cleaners used in public restrooms. The odor permeated several rooms of the house after one limited use of the product. I poured the remaining product (full bottle) down the drain.

What Smears?
Some of the other reviews here have mentioned that this product left smears. We don't see any smears. We use it on everything and it leaves a nice clean shine.

Leaves smears even if the surface was barely dirty.
I tested this on all my appliances. It left a smear on EVERYTHING. Even if it wasn't barely even dirty (For dirt or if I wanted some shine)
The worst was on mirrors and glass. It looked like someone ate a hamburger and wiped their hands all over the glass.
At first It looked good but as it dried (about 20 seconds) you will be able to see the smears appearing.
I'm surprised windex didn't stop making this when they tested the product on their own windows. I actually was at the point of thinking that my bottle was defective but when I went on the site I saw that 9/10 people were having the same issue. I don't know about the other 1/10 who says it works fine .
