Recycled plastic is made from materials that people and businesses recycle every day, like plastic bottles. It gives plastic a second life and helps divert waste from the environment and landfills. This helps contribute to the circular economy.
WHY DOES RECYCLED PLASTIC MATTER?
One million plastic bottles are purchased every minute around the world and half of all plastic produced is designed for single-use and then thrown away.
